The remains were carried to his late home, Austin, for interment. Mrs. Martina Morales, born in San Antonio in 1779, died last week. She had lived in the city of her birth all her life, 104 years. Henry Thompson of Fort Worth, died Monday. In the palmy days of Jacksboro and the building of the government post, Fort Richardson, at Jacksboro, Mr. Thompson was one of the largest contractors furnishing building material and supplies to the government. Col. J.L.L. McCall of Weatherford bought 1,800 head of sheep here for this ranch in the part of this county. A.D. Kerr, formerly of Albany, but now of Seymour. The old government military telegraph has been converted to a telephone line. The wire runs north and south, two miles east from town. The office will be in charge of postmaster Stinson.
