B. McGinty, Jr - Houston Chronicle 9-9-1980, section 1 page 15 J. B. McGinty, Jr. died Sunday, September 7, 1980. Native and lifelong resident of Houston. Member of the Gade Rothwell Masonic Lodge No. 1151 AF&AM, Veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy aboard the USS Proteus. Retired in 1971 from the Houston Independent School District after 39 years. Charter member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Survived by his wife, Ocie Fae McGinty of Houston and a number of other relatives. Funeral services 1:30 pm Tuesday, Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harold Reeves officiating. Graveside services and interment, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery under the auspices of the Cade Rothwell Masonic Lodge No. 1151 AF&AM. Masons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: William Hager, Jim Jernigan, Ray Barnes, Robert Webster, Johnny O'Leary, Bill Adkins, Ronald W. Laughter, Neil Sweeney, Harry Phillips, Neil Sweeney III, Ray T.
