Freestone County, Texas Towns Old Ghost Towns - Never had a post office: Rhode Island The Rhode Island community still barely exists. Located south of Tehuacana Creek just west of the Stewards Mill community. A traditionally Africian-American community, Rhode Island has a rich history of excellent preachers at the Rhode Island church and many of its former residents reside in the cemetery. The church building was eventually moved from the cemetery.
