Camp Moody 

Camp Moody was not a community in a traditional sense.  Camp Moody was a World 
War I military camp built near the fairgrounds just outside the Fairfield city 
limits at the time on the eastern side.  The camp was on the road from 
Fairfield to Turlington and Butler at the time.  I have some pictures of Camp
Moody from the time where they camped in tents just outside of town.
