Black Jack

The community of Black Jack was located about two miles south of Lanely on the 
heights that forms the source of Self Creek and Plum Creek.  The community was
probably named for the Blackjack Oak (Quercus marilandica) in the area.

School:  Black Jack School existed in 1918.
