Beenetown

Beene is NOT listed in the 1895 Rand McNally atlas.  Beene is listed on a 1918 
map. Beene was near the county line with Limestone County.  The Beene community
was located near the modern Farm Road 80 running between Donie and Teague. The 
area is drained by Cedar Creek. Beene was located near the old communities of 
Cedar and Salem.

To the southeast was Union Church and Providence Church.

Post Office:
Established Dec 18, 1896.  Discontinued on Feb 15, 1905.
