The lodge moved from Boggy Prairie to Teague on August 17, 1907. The Sept 13, 1907 edtion of the Teague Chroncile, "Notice to Masons, Boggy Lodge of A.F. & A.M. No. 739 having removed to Teague Saturday, September 14, 1907. Full attendance is desired and cordial invitation is extended to all visiting members. M. A. Webb, W.M., E. Headlee, Secretary." In the minutes of July 11, 1908 reveals an little interesting item: "Received a letter from Fredericksburg, Virginia lodge #4 asking for donation to help build a monument to be erected in memory of our worthy brother, George Washington.
