Freestone P.-T. A. Meet at Fairfield 

FAIRFIELD. Freestone Co., Texas, Oct. 21 - A large number of guests and P.T.A.
members from all sections of the county gathered at the Fairfield school 
auditorium to attend the regular meeting of the Freestone County Parent-Teacher
Association.
  The main speaker of the day was Miss Nettie Bonner, principal of the Robert
E. Lee School of Corsicana, who spoke on "The Home and School Made for 
Happiness of the Child."  Other addresses were made by P.D. Browne, 
superintendent of the Fairfield school, and J.N. Porter, superintendent of the 
Kirvin school.  Excellent music and readings featured the program.
