ALBERTA MENDEZ RODRIGUEZ

A Mass of Christian Burial Service for Mrs. Alberta Rodriguez, 58, was held on 
Monday, November 21, 2011, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Teague. Interment 
followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery.

Alberta was born in Delores, Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico, on February 24, 1953,
to Jose' and Paula Mendez. She married Miguel Rodriguez and shared over thirty 
years together. Mrs. Rodriguez moved to Teague in 1982 and worked hard to 
raise her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. 
Mrs. Rodriquez was very dedicated to caring for her family and deeply religious.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Teague. Mrs. Rodriguez passed
away on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in 
Waco.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Pablo Mendez and 
her father & mother-in-law, Jose' Guadalupe and Apolina Romero.

She is survived by her husband, Miguel Rodriquez Sr. of Teague; four sons, 
Jose Mendez & wife Maria of Teague, Lucio Jaramillo & wife Christina of 
Victoria, Miguel Rodriguez Jr. of Teague, and J. Guadalupe Rodriguez of Teague;
one daughter, Juana Rodriguez of Teague; three grandchildren, Lucinda 
Jaramillo of Victoria, Ceasar Jose' Mendez, and Karla Alexa Mendez both of 
Teague; three brothers, Vincente Mendez, J. Luz Mendez, and Gumersindo Mendez
all of Mexico; two sisters, Maria Elena Mendez of Mexico and Maria Delores 
Mendez of Liberty; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bowers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
