VIVIAN P. PARKER

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Palms Funeral Home of Angleton for 
Vivian P. Parker, 88, formerly of Fairfield who died last Thursday.

Interment followed at Lake Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield.

Mrs. Parker was born August 15, 1922 in Fairfield to John and Thera Ward.

She worked for Kroger’s Grocery for 31 years and was a member of the Retail 
Clerk’s Union and Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her parents and husband Melvin Parker.

She is survived by daughters Charlotte Bean and partner Odus Gautney, Jr. of 
San Augustine, Barbara Kennedy of Haughton, LA and Sabrina Rovner of Las Vegas,
NV; brothers Bill Ward and Luke Ward, both of Fairfield; sister Sue Ward of 
Mesquite; grandchildren Lane Miley, Victoria Tauzin, John Kennedy, Jr., 
Jonathan Kennedy, Bobbie Lopez, Bartley Kennedy, Roy Kennedy, Chris Rucker and 
Mandy Rucker; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Making arrangements were Palms Funeral Home of Angleton and Capps Memorial 
Chapel of Fairfield.
