Billy Ray "Bill' Minefee

Billy Ray "Bill" Minefee, 74, of El Paso entered into eternal rest Jan. 11,
2002.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at Fort Bliss National 
Cemetery with Pastor Mark Rawlins officiating.

Mr. Minefee was born Sept. 14, 1927 in Navarro County to William Walter 
"Willie" and Katie Lee Tune Minefee. He married Bernice Floyd of Frost on
Nov. 10, 1947. They moved to El Paso in the mid 1950s where they made their
permanent home. He worked for the city water department and retired in the
early 1990s.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bernice Minefee of El Paso; 
daughters and sons-in-law, Shirly and Larry Rhul of Pennsylvania and Susan
and John Crowder of North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, David and 
Mercy Minefee of El Paso; brother, Clinton Minefee and wife Geraldine of
Corsicana; sisters, Mary Lou Rawlings of Streetman and Dora Catherine 
Hollingsworth and husband Everett of Corsicana; eight grandchildren, nine 
great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of
friends.
