The Bryan - College Station Eagle October 2, 2004 Edward Byron Holloway Sept. 11, 1934 — Oct. 1, 2004 MADISONVILLE — Services for Edward Byron Holloway, 70, of North Zulch are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Madisonville Funeral Home. Byron Holloway and Aubin Benitez will officiate. Burial will be in Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home. Mr. Holloway died Friday at his home. He was born in Streetman and was raised in Donna in the Rio Grande Valley. He previously lived in Houston and was a cabinet maker for 42 years. After his retirement he moved to his farm in North Zulch. Mr. Holloway was a member of the Church of Christ and was a deacon for many years. He served in the Naval Reserve during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Mary Holloway of North Zulch; two sons and daughters-in-law, Byron and Christol Holloway of Houston and Doug and Tammy Holloway of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Aubin Benitez of Houston and Connie and Mark Cole of Wichita, Kan.; three sisters, Dorothy Hardy of Rockport, Helen Taylor of Eastland and Paulene Gurden of North Muskegon, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
