Freestone County, Texas Obituaries VEOLA WILLIS DANIELS 2011-06-23 / Obituaries Funeral services will be held Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Fairfield for Mrs. Veola Willis Daniels, 89, of Fairfield who died June 16, in the Lancaster Nursing and Rehab Center of Lancaster among family and friends. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery on F.C.R. 489 in Fairfield. Mrs. Daniels was born in Fairfield where she attended the public school system and was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She married Leroy Daniels and together they had 11 children; and she worked in the food service and clothing industries most of her life. Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her parents Garfield and Annie Washington Willis; her husband; son Jimmy Wayne and daughter Bernita. She is survived by sons Sol Leroy and wife Ladell of Dallas, Eddie B. and wife Mary of Dew, Cloyd Lee and wife Marie and Freddie Lee and wife Julie, all of Dallas; daughters Willie B. Pelton and husband Lonnie of Teague, Bonnie P. Washington and husband Newman of Dallas and Lisa Ann Richardson and husband Marvin of Alamogordo, NM; brothers Eddie Lee, George, Frankie Lee, Garfield and William Lee; sisters Annie Mae, Dorothy, Pearlie Jane and Nellie Joyce, all of Dallas; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation and viewing is Friday at 10 a.m. and the family will be present from 7-8 that evening. Officiating services is the Reverend Sammie McGuire and eulogist is pastor Lonnie R. Pelton. Church is located at 371 F.M. 1580 in Fairfield. Making arrangements is Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home of Teague.
