DIED

We were sorry to learn Tuesdayof the death of Mr. C. R. Burleson, near 
Woodland, who died Monday, after a brief illness, of black jaundice.  Mr.
Burleson was a member of the late grand jury and was in town last week, and
during court, in apparent good health.  The deceased was a good, industrious
citizen, and will be much missed in the community.  He was the only son of
our countyman, Mr. John Burleson.
