He was born in Clarkwood, Texas on February 8, 1926 to Olvey and Rosa Jewel Bellah. He was in the Navy and served in W.W. II., member of the Masonic Lodge, member of the Baptist Church, 20 years retired from the Dallas Police Department and was a cartoonist with the Dallas Police Department News and part owner of a restaurant once in Streetman called "The Smokehouse". He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Doris Bellah of Fairfield; 1 Son - Larrye Bellah and his wife Donna of Streetman; God -son - Mark Cole of Greensboro, North Carolina, 1 Sister - Helen Bellah Daniel of Skidmore, Texas; 2 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
