Mr John Bonner, Dear
Sir. I must inform you 
that my Grand parents
(Perry & Henrietta Colds), 
   are suffering of want 
they haven’t rec’d anything 
   from the County since 
   they left Winkler and 
I wish you would 
see something about it.
Some colored men has 
been to see about it
twice at least, and has 
failed to be comforted.
They are living with Rachel 
Packer [Parker?] (their daughter).
So let me hear from you soon.
Do your best for them, 
   for their sake, and 
for the sake of the Lord.
