Mayfield, LadyTexian@tcainternet.com  TX Tombstone Project Manager ************************************************************************ Brooke Family Cemeterynear Fairfield, Freestone County TX Submitted by Brown Brooke irbrooke@comanchetx.com Brooke Cemetery GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 31.6053, Longitude: -95.9972 Take Hwy. 84 out of Teague through Fairfield, continue for approx. 12-13 miles south to FM-489 at "Crossroads", (Butler Vol. Fire Dept. on the right), turn right and follow approx. 7-8 miles until you see Brown Chapel Church, take a right (Mary Browne Rd.) and go approx. 1 mile where you will see a handpainted sign and a stepover made of metal. The cemetery is approx. 45 degrees to the right and through some trees and thick undergrowth and enclosed in a wrought iron fence. Buried outside the fence are: Harrison, Martha............ b. 12/24/1856..........d. 03/02/1864 Harrison, Andrew............ b. 12/17/1859..........d. 11/02/1871 ( I know nothing of the Harrisons) Buried inside the fenced area are: Brooke, Turner................b. 08/20/1880.........d. 10/13/1881 s/o Roger Turner Brooke Brooke, Georgia Ann.......... b. 08/01/1821..........d. 06/03/1881 w/o Ignatius Roger Brooke Brooke, Ignatius Roger....... b. 10/04/1819..........d. 01/11/1882 h/o Georgia Ann Green Brooke Trahin, Sophia................b. 05/31/1853..........d. 04/12/1889 w/o J.
