Status: Active Background: In 1873, a Baptist church was organized that remains in use today. In 1878, this was a polling place. The school that was held in the church building moved to Turlington in 1908. Near the "Old Bugle Road" to the ghost town of Troy. Directions: This one is about eight miles east of Fairfield, near the Turlington community. Located east of FM 1364. It is 1.1 miles north of Highway 84 and Farm Road 1364 intersection. On right side near the intersection of #1364 and #112. Church is located north of the cemetery. Long axis of cemetery aligned approx N80 degrees E. Covers an area of about 68,298 square feet or 1.6 acres. Enclosed by chain link fence. Map: USGS Topographic Map, Turlington Quadrangle. Number of Graves: At least 306 graves.
