Celebrated Her
Fourth Birthday

1928

Little Betty Jo Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Davis, celebrated her
fourth birthday with a party Friday afternoon at her home on the corner of
Dallas and Burnett streets. [Ennis] After playing various games the children
were taken on a trip to the North Pole. Arriving there, they found the north
pole covered with snow and surrounded with favors consisting of celluloid dolls
tied up in tarlton bags of candy.

Refreshments of icy pies and angel food cake were served to the following
guests:  Martha Sue Hinkle, Louise Creech, Martha Ann Booth, Eugenia Nichols,
Betty Claire Roorbach, Dorothy Helen Earles, A.C. Earles, Jr., Dorothy Fay
Lightsey, Sidn LaVelle Dodd, Budge Miller, Claude Ruffin, Jr; Theodore Kalhanek,
Dillardine Hudspeth, Charles Robert Bush and Mary Dea Davis.
