She was born on April 17, 1916, in Melissa, Texas. She held bachelor’s and master’s degrees from North Texas State University. Marian taught school for over 35 years in Anna, Rockwall and other towns in Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Melissa. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Wysong and her husband, John, of Dallas; son, Jim Wysong and his wife, Jo, of Dallas; grandchildren, Erin Wysong Reina, Jay Wysong and Catherine Chambers Vuyosevich; great-grandchildren, Hadrien, Pascal and Lair Reina; sisters, Frances Waller of Plano and Jean Jernigan of McKinney; and brother, Bill Gibson of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, David Wallace and James Wysong, and parents, W.M. (Jake) Gibson and Mary Chambers Gibson. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
