SCOTT

Wilma Roberts Scott, 81, of Bronte, Texas passed away Saturday, March 12, 2005 
in the Bronte Health & Rehab Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2 pm 
Monday, March 14, at the Bronte Church of Christ.  Burial will follow in 
Fairview Cemetery.
 
Wilma was born November 25, 1923 in Robert lee, Texas to John Eddie and 
Viva Stroud Roberts.  She graduated from Robert Lee High School and married 
Joe Edward Scott on November 15, 1947 in San Angelo, Texas.
 
She and her husband owned and operated Scott Butane Company, she was a loving 
mother and a homemaker.  Wilma was a life-long member of the Church of Christ 
and a devoted Christian.
 
Preceding her in death were her husband of 57 years, Joe Edward Scott; her 
parents; her brother, Burl Stroud Roberts; and sister Luda Earline Roberts Clark.

Surviving family are her four children; Brenda Hines and husband Steve, Merritt 
Scott all of Bronte, DeWitt Scott of San Angelo and Viva Scott Caldwell of 
Burnett; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Donations can be made to your favorite charity or to the Arthritis Foundation 
in lieu of flowers. Shaffer Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
