Jackson, 75, of Midland, died on Friday, November 15, 2002, at his residence. Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 18, 2002 at Fairview Cemetery in Midland with Brother Dale Patterson, of Pecan Baptist Church, officiating. A visitation was held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, Sunday, November 17, 2002 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Arrangements were under the direction of Nalley- Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Survivors include his wife; Elizabeth Ann Jackson of Midland, one son; Philip Christopher Jackson of Midland, four daughters; Katie Drennan of Robert Lee, Cindy Edwards of Garland, Kathie Markowski of San Antonio, Sandy Rivera of El Paso, two sisters; Nita Hedges of Porter, and Linda Barrow of Midland, four brothers; Earnest Jackson of Fredericksburg, Lloyd Powell of Midland, Pat Powell of Midland, Charlie Powell of Midland, and thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
