Trecie died May 22, 2001. She married Elbert Wrinkle in 1930, and in 1938, they had one son, Wilburn Wrinkle. She married Bob F. Butner on November 3, 1954, at Greenville. He had two sons by a previous marriage, Bobby Allen Butner and Johnnie Joe Butner. Her profession was nursing that she did for 26 years. She truly loved her God, her family, her church and her home. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church, both as a teacher and a member, devoting time to youth. Trecie is survived by two sons, Wilburn Wrinkle of Bronte and Johnnie Joe Butner of Millsap, Tx; one brother, Jeff Randle McCutchen of Mertzon; two sisters, Georgia Ruth Gibbs of Crews and Janie Kyle of Seatle, Washington. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Steven Butner of Dallas, Allen Wayne Butner, and Carol Ann Butner Shipp, both of Bonham; and four great grandchildren, Arron Quinn Butner, Alexius Shree Butner, Codey Allan Shipp, and Courtney Lee Shipp. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 24, 2001, at the First Baptist Church of Bronte, officiated by Reverend Morris Johnson. Burial followed in Faairview Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Permission granted by Observer/Enterprise for publication in the Coke County TXGenWeb Archives
