KENNEDY

Clairine Kennedy, 82, of Robert Lee passed away Friday, August 31, 2001,
in the Robert Lee Care Center.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, Robert Lee Cemetery.
Services were under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Clairine was born January 1, 1919, to Ira and Mozelle Rich in Gilmer,
Texas.  She married Charles Kennedy on December 23, 1945 in Tyler, 
Texas and she taught school for 32 years, 16 years of that time was 
in Silver, Texas, retiring in 1977.  She was a member of the Methodist 
Church.

Clairine is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Kennedy; a 
daughter, Sue Ree Kennedy, a son and daughter-in-law, Charles & Nell
Kennedy; and a grandson Brent Kennedy and wife Shannon.
