Noble Born in Kentucky Daughter of James Patterson May 29, 1799 and Died Wife of Thomas Noble June 3, 1868 Born Aged In Kentucky June 9 1805 69 yrs. 4 days Died August 12, 1878 Aged 73 yrs, 2 mos, 3 days The Joy Cemetery is in Backbone Valley, (Fairland), Burnet County, Texas. It is about 8 miles northwest of Marble Falls. Noble family descendants state that Nathan Noble, son of Thomas and Sarah Noble, is also buried here. He was born 15 Dec 1843 in Red River County, Texas and died 20 Dec 1870 in Burnet County. The tombstones are made of soapstone, each is 5 feet tall, 12 inches wide and about 3 inches thick. ============================================================================
