(2) Close to her low and narrow house, Graceful waves ye willow boughs, Flowers of the wild woods you odor shed, Over the holy, beautiful dead. (3) Why should we linger to wee around the tomb, Sorrow shall vex her no more, Never a shadow of trouble of gloom, There with glorified spirit to reign, To live with loved ones gone before, Free from pain, resting in the heavenly land.
