Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 23, at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Bernhardt and the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Burial was held in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Born Sept. 30, 1910, to Charles and Clara (Bennett) Hay, in Comanche, he was a retired farmer and rancher who enjoyed talking about his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, his first wife, Letha Rose Hay; and his second wife, Evelyn. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Donna Hay, Jim and Charlotte Hay all of Duncan, and Bobby and Jean Hay of Sand Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Joann and Jim Byford of Duncan; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
