All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.html ========================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Heare, Harwell On Thursday August 25th, Harwell left us to be with our Heavenly Father and his beloved Mickey. Harwell would have turned 90 on October 9th. He is survived by his son Robert & wife Carolyn; his daughter Susan & husband Ted Smith; grandchildren Darin & wife Jill Heare, Stephanie & husband Darren Rogers; great grandchildren Matthew & Elizabeth Heare; niece Sharon & husband Al Smith, and a host of lifelong friends. Harwell was married to his soul mate Mickey for more than 58 years & served his country in WWII. He owned Heare's Fine Cleaning for 35 years, and then worked as the OKC Men's Bowling Assoc. Secretary for 20 years, retiring at the early age of 85. Harwell was a member of the C. Harrison Sunday School Class at St. Luke's for more than 50 years & enjoyed two bridge clubs until he was 86. Harwell was known as a great husband, wonderful father, and hard worker. He was also known for his love of dogs & baseball, for being the life of the party & for his laugh and friendly smile A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sept 1st at St. Luke's Methodist Church in OKC, followed by a celebration of his life. Come share your stories, pictures & memories of this man we all loved. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the U.S. Bowling Congress Youth Scholarship Fund, 3633 NW 21st, OKC, 73107. There will be a private interment for the family.
