Tyler, 64, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James C. Hill, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Home. Mr. Tyler was born in Milburn, Okla., and moved to Graham in 1977 from Amarillo. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He had been employed by Affiliated Food as a truck driver for 22 years and was currently working for Zack Burkett Co. He married Madonna Pleasant in 1952 in Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Tyler. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Brenda Green of Graham and Sherry Johnson of Joshua; a son, Curtis Tyler of Arlington; five sisters, Ethel Peterson of Pioneer, Calif., Vernice Montgomery of Princeton, Phyllis Smith of Sunray, Mello Dean Mitchell of Amarillo, and Linda Pellham of Brownwood; two brothers, Melvin Tyler of Amarillo and W.C. Tyler of Lewiston, Calif.; and five grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the First Baptist Church, 623 Third Street, Graham, TX 76450.
