She passed away September 21, 2002, at 82 years of age. She retired from Jefferson County School District in Lakewood, Colorado, in 1989 and moved to Oklahoma City in June of 1996. She will be missed by all. Survivors include her children: Frances A. Brown and husband Kenneth of Checotah, Oklahoma, Sherry Unger and husband Larry of Thornton, Colorado, Shirley Morris of Phoenix, AZ, Ellen Eastin and husband Howard of Kremmling, Colorado, and Helen Morris of Oklahoma City; stepdaughter Rosie Stewart of Chickasaw, Alabama; stepson: Layne Morris of Houston, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Marjorie Clarkston, Jim Whitaker, Betty Moore and Ruth Robinson; numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elijah Morris, and two sons, Jimmy Morris and Freddie Morris. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2002, at the Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha. Rev. Kim Hayes will officiate with arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
