Death takes city woman

Mrs. Alice Burleson, 75, of Pauls Valley, a resident of Garvin county the last
40 years, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

She was born March 18, 1888 Abilene, Texas. She had lived in Pauls Valley the
last 36 years and resided at 320 East Avenue at the time of death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Stufflebean Funeral Home
chapel with Rev. Billy McCarty officiating.  Burial will be in the McGee
cemetery north of Stratford.

Survivors include three sons, Ted and Joe Burleson of Pauls Valley and Delbert
Burleson of Hot Springs, Ark.,; six daughters, Mrs. James Warren, Miss Ruth
Burleson, Mrs. Leonard Warren and Mrs. Dawson Jarman, all of Pauls Valley,
Mrs. Buster Musgrove of Ada and Mrs. J. R. Long of Sulphur; one sister, Mrs.
Alma Wood of Buffalo, Texas; 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
