BAKER CANTON ­ The funeral for Lola Mae Williams Baker, 74, will be 2 p.m. Friday in Oakwood Auditorium. Clyde Irving will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, near Fay. Arrangements are by Haigler Funeral Home. She was born Feb. 28, 1927, at Taloga to Ned and Jessie Rochelle Parks Williams and died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at her home. She attended schools at Greenfield, Watonga, Putnam, Canton and Hopewell. She completed the 11th grade, then stayed home to care for her mother and siblings. On March 10, 1945, she married Millage Earl Baker at Arapaho. They lived in Wallace, Kan., then in the Fay community, later moving to Oklahoma City. In 1952 the family moved to Tuttle. She attended Snowhill Baptist Church and was a member of WMU. In 1964, they moved to Fay, to the Oakwood community in 1965, then to the farm in 1980. She was a cook. Surviving are her husband, Millage of the home; three daughters, Linda Antrim of Tuttle, Debra Rose Simmons of Elk City and Lisa Weber of Watonga; five sons, Jimmy, Joe and Jeffrey, all of Fay, Terry of Marrero, La., and Michael of Cordell; three sisters, Wilma Winter of Roseberg, Ore., Nancy Walker of Fay and Mary Mangold of Miami; eight brothers, Loyd Williams of Wallace, Kan., Bucky Williams of Sharon Springs, Kan., Everett Williams of Paradise, Mont., Frank Williams, Ned Williams, Noah Williams and Bobby Williams, all of Watonga; 24 grandchildren; and 22 great- grandchildren.
