Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Dyess, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Briscoe was born Oct. 15, 1912, in Hollis, Okla., to James Thomas and Dovie Elizabeth McWilliams Willingham. She graduated from high school in Hollis. She married James Elton "Duffy" Briscoe sometime in the 1930s in Oklahoma.She had been a resident of Pampa since 1953, moving from Drumwright, Okla. She worked with her husband, who was manager of the downtown C.R. Anthony store in Pampa until his death. Traveling and living at home were her retirement passions. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967; her parents; a sister, Thelma V. Willingham Dellinger of Durant, Okla.; and a nephew, Thomas Edroy Willingham of Irvine, Calif. Survivors include a brother, Edwin "Ed" Willingham Sr. and wife, Lillian, of Richmond; and two nephews, James Edwin Willingham Jr. and wife, Judy, of San Antonio, and Warren Shelby Dellinger of Bokchito, Okla.
