He was 74 years old. He was born in Sapulpa, Okla., on Oct. 8, 1932. He served in the United States Navy for 6 years. He also served with the Civil Air Patrol in Search and Rescue for six years and was with the State Military Reserves for four years. He worked for The Sacramento Bee as a printer for 25 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Jewel Blair of Citrus Heights, Calif.; his children Randy Blair of Sacramento, Charles Blair of Grand Forks, N.D., and Kelli (Norm) Kiser of Placerville, Calif.; sister Mary Ethel (Bob) Smith of Grants Pass, Ore.; three grandsons Ben, Matt, and Josh Blair, one niece, two great- nieces and one great-nephew. There will be a funeral service to celebrate Robert's life on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 11:00 AM in CHAPEL OF FLOWERS CHEROKEE MEMORIAL PARK, Hwy 99 at East Harney Lodi, Calif. Open casket prior to service. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
