All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens--Clovis NM Morse, Launa "Peggy" Launa "Peggy" Morse, passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at the Senior Citizen Resident Center in Clovis. She was born March 15, 1916, in Oklahoma, to Floyd and Blanche Lancaster. Peggy married Lewis "Racy" Morse on March 16, 1935, in Lawton, Okla. She farmed and ranched in the Grady area with her husband, Racy from 1943 until his death in 1995, and lived on the farm until October of 2006. She is survived by one daughter, Sondra Lee Forrest and her husband, Johnny, of Clovis; two grandsons, John Mark Forrest and his wife, Kerri, of Clovis and Clinton Lewis Forrest and his wife, Tenisa, of Rio Rancho, N.M.; and five great-grandchildren, Kirsty Faye, John Racy, Eryn Nicole, Ashton Linsey and Alexa Rochelle. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1995; and three brothers, Floyd Don, Lawrence and Charles. Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at Kingswood United Methodist Church in Clovis, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Brad Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home, 800 E.
