(12 Aug 1948, Thurs, Sayre Sun, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Golden Wedding Anniversary Will Be Celebrated August 15 The Golden Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Falkner will be celebrated August 15, at the Plainview Park, two miles west of the Plainview Store. A basket lunch will be served at noon. All the children are expected to be present for this occasion, which include: Mrs. Minnie Fears of El Monte, California; Clint Falkner, Tucumcari, New Mexico; Ewin Falkner, El Dorado, Kansas; Eddie and Hulon Falkner and Mrs. Vacy Bradley of Willow, Oklahoma; Mrs. Mattie Hill of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Obie Falkner, Inglewood, California; Mrs. Edna Bergert, Pampa, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Falkner moved to Oklahoma from Bosque County, Texas in 1901. Come and enjoy this occasion with them. No invitations are being sent out.
