CELEBRATE 56TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.
MR. GEORGE T. CARPENTER and MISS LIZZIE ANDREAS were united in marriage on
October 9, 1878, at the home of the bride's uncle, Jacob V. Little, on
Prospect Hill, near Sussex, New Jersey. Of the large gathering present,
few are living.
The children are: Mrs. Lewis Babock, of Erick; Mrs. Rudolph T. Stern of
Minneapolis, Minn.; Rev. Alfred A. Carpenter of Blytheville, Ark.; and
Chauncey Carpenter of Mayfield, Okla.
The couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary October 9th at their
home, the Valley View Farm, near Mayfield, with all children present and
some grandchildren. Also one great-grandchild. They have four children,
six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
They received many useful gifts and letters of congratulation.
