MOOREHEAD, MICHAEL
(7 Apr 1911, Friday,  Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
J. Moorhead, father of A. J. Moorhead, owner of the Berlin telephone line,
died at his home near Berlin last Sunday evening and was buried in the
Berlin cemetery Monday, the 3rd inst.  He lived to a ripened age of 78
years, 9 months and 24 days.

Mr. Morehead died at the home of his son, Albert Morehead, at Berlin,
Okla., April 3, 1911.  Age about 75 years.  Grandpa Morehead made his home
in this community until about a year ago, his health failing him, he went
to the home of his son.  He has been an active member of the German
Baptist Church.
