(25 Oct 1923, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED AT CLINTON.
R. T. LaRue of this city received the sad news Wednesday of last week
telling of the death of a half brother, W. W. McComas, in the Clinton
state sanitarium.  The deceased whose home was at Commerce, Oklahoma, had
come to Clinton seeking relief from Tuberculosis caused by mine dust. 
Burial was made at Stafford, Oklahoma, Friday afternoon, and the funeral
services were conducted by the Rev. Mitchell of Clinton.

R. T. LaRue returned Friday night from Clinton where he was called by the
illness and death of his half brother, W. W. McComas.  Mr. McComas' home
was at Commerce, Oklahoma, but for some time past he has been in the
Clinton State Sanitarium.  The remains were taken to Stafford, Oklahoma,
Friday, for interment.
