Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel Of Me mories 6969 E. Interstate 40 . Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Miss Read was born September 2 1924 Willow Oklahoma, the daughter of Mr. A nd M rs. E.T. Read. She moved to Amarillo in 1941 from Spearman Texas. She was a gra duate of Amarillo High School. She retired from Amarillo National Bank after 34 years. Survivors include two sisters Ruby Hayden of Phoenix, and Thelma McLeod of Ama rillo, two brothers Eddie Read of Ringold, and Joe Glenn Harris of Amarillo, ma ny nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends from Arizona a nd Texas NOTE: Christal was a cousin to my father William Paul Rutherford. Her mother was marr ied twice. Once to Harris and then Read. Her grandmother was Missouri Jane Ruth erford. Missouri was a sister to William Franklin and David Oscar Rutherford.Half siste r to Joe Lee Rutherford. Missouri, and David Oscar were both in Magum in the 1920s coming there from Tex as. W.F. went to Roger Mills and then New Liberty.One of Missouris daughters marri ed Frank Gable. Some of the Gables still live at Mangum.Retta another daughter married Eugene Harris. Retta was Christals mother.
