   Ralph Baxter
   CLOVIS, N.M. - Ralph Baxter, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel
   with Pastor Ed Abla officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial
   Gardens with military honors by Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard.
   
   Mr. Baxter was born in Elk City, Okla. He was a farmer and rancher in
   West Texas and eastern New Mexico and served with the Army during
   World War II.
   
   His son, Lonnie Howard Baxter, preceded him in death.
   
   Survivors include a son, Lonnie Ralph Baxter Jr. of Iceland; three
   daughters, Rebecca Lusk of Clovis, Sarah Jo Rodriquez of San Jose,
   Calif., and Thuridur Baxter of Iceland; a sister, Sally Galloway of
   Albuquerque; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
   
   The family will be at #31 Paseo Village in Clovis and suggests
   memorials be to New Mexico Boys Ranch.
