   Marie Barnes
   PAMPA - Marie Barnes, 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Briarwood Full Gospel Church
   with the Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by
   Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Graveside services will
   be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Red Hill Cemetery in Hammon, Okla., with the
   Rev. Dolan Ivey, pastor of First Assembly of God in Hammon,
   officiating. Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home of Elk City,
   Okla.
   
   Mrs. Barnes was born in Farmersville and attended school in Hammon and
   Herring, Okla. She and her husband were house parents for the Grady
   County Youth Services in Chickasha, Okla., for five years before
   moving back to Hammon.
   
   Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Briarwood Full Gospel Church and the
   Briarwood Senior Group.
   
   She married R.A. "Bob" Barnes in 1938 at Sayre, Okla. He died in 1987.
   
   Survivors include four daughters, Bobbie Sue Stephens of Pampa, Myrna
   Mercer of Irving, Carolyn Bryant of Jacksonville, Ala., and Aseneth
   Smimmo of Hurst; a son, Keith Barnes of Willis; a sister, Lillie
   Blount of Sapulpa, Okla.; a brother, John Boulware of Sugar Hill, Ga.;
   14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five
   great-great-grandchildren.
   
   The family suggest memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony Hospice, P.O.
   Box 2795, Pampa, TX 79066-2795; or Briarwood Full Gospel Church, 1800
   W. Harvester, Pampa, TX 79065.
   
   The family will be at 1900 Dogwood in Pampa.
