STEWART, LOTTIE
(13 May 1920,Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Word was received from California that Mrs. Lottie Stewart, wife of G. M.
Stewart died there Monday at 5 p.m. and they would start with the body
Wednesday morning expecting to arrive on the (train) 42 Saturday.  The
funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in this city, and the burial will be
at Erick Cemetery.  The Pastor and place of the funeral will be on the
funeral announcements that will be out Saturday.  As the deceased lady and
her husband are old settlers and are highly respected here it is expected
that a large crowd will be present to pay their last sad tribute to her
and express their sympathy to the numerous relations that reside or will
be here.

The funeral of Mrs. Lottie, wife of G. M. Stewart, who died at Lindsay,
California, May 10th, was held at the Baptist church here last Sunday
afternoon.  The services were conducted by Rev. Elder, an old family
friend, assisted by Rev. Crumpton and Rev. Bell of this city.  There was a
large attendance of relatives and friends both at the Church and the Erick
Cemetery where she was laid to rest.  The bereaved have the sympathy of a
large number of friends.
