HANCE, J. J.
(13 May 1909, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
J. J. Hance, living in the Delhi community, died last Saturday evening at
10 o'clock of fever.
The deceased was born in the state of Tennessee in the year of 1867; moved
to Texas in 1888 and from there to Beckham county, where he has resided
for the last four years.  The funeral services were conducted by Rev.
Plowman.  The remains were laid to rest Sunday evening in the Delhi
cemetery.  The deceased leaves a wife and seven children and a large
number of friends to mourn his departure.
