(10 Oct 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): WINGO RELATIVE DIES IN HAMMON. A paralytic stroke last night proved fatal to R. P. Caster, 68, uncle of Mrs. H. F. Wingo, of Hammon, it was learned here today. Mr. Caster died in Hammon after being ill for sometime. The paralysis had been coming on him for the past few nights with the fatal attack developing last night. The body was brought here for embalming before being sent to Kidder, Mo., where services will be held and interment will be made. Shipment was made today. Services are to be held in Kidder either tomorrow or Sunday, it was announced. Mr. Caster had been visiting his neice (sic), Mrs. Wingo, in Hammon for the past three or four months. He became ill sometime ago and grew increasingly worse until his death. Mr. Caster was a native Missourian, having been born in Caldwell county, April 6, 1862.
