ALLRED, RAYMOND RALPH
(18 May 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
RAYMOND RALPH ALLRED.
Raymond Ralph, the six month old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Sampson Allred died
May 3, 1918 at the home of Sam Wilson in this city, after a prolonged
illness, though was only seriously ill two weeks.  During his short stay
here we had all learned to love him and his sweet smile; which we will
sadly miss, but we realize that He who doeth all things well has taken him
home and so we can only say:
"Only a short stay, seems but a day, But God saw fit to take him away."
Bro. Smith of the Church of Christ spoke words of comfort and admonition
to the bereaved family.  After which the remains were laid to rest in the
Fairlawn Cemetery.
