McCASLAND 1908-1991 McCasland Services held in Arkansas Hayden D.McCasland, 82, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, at a local hospital. A native of Atoka, Oklahoma, he worked for many years for the Oklahoma State Department of Corrections as superintendent of prisons at Stringtown and McLoud Honor Farms. He retired in 1975 and moved to Hot Springs. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Oklahoma Sheriff and Peace Officers Association. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willa Mae Taylor McCasland, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Pauline McCasland of Hot Springs; one son, Hayden D. McCasland, Jr. of Norman, Okla.; four daughers, Alice Presson and Sharon Shokat, both of Norman; Nina Holden of Las Cruces, N.M., and Roberta McCasland of Hot Springs; two brothers, Stanton McCasland of Odessa, Texas, and Mark McCasland of Atlanta, Texas; and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Crestview Mausoleum with Dr. M.J. Timbs officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Cemetery under the direction of Gross Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Joseph H. McCasland, Nick Shokat and Steve, David and Jim Presson, all of Norman, and Justin Tharp of Las Cruces, N.M. ------------
