Craig of Toledo spent the first week of her brother, Orrin Baker and family. Mr. and Mrs. ....... ----------------- Abandoned Baby Found in Truck. Thursday evening, L. Nemecher, Cleveland truck driver, left his truck in front of a Fremont restaurant and went to get something to eat. On returning a few minutes later he found that someone had left a two weeks old baby girl in a basket on the seat of the truck, carefully wrapped and dressed in new clothing, with plenty of flannel but nothing that would give a clue to its identity. The child was first taken to the detention home but later was turned over to Memorial hospital by order of Probate Judge Coonrod. While the mother or other persons had taken great pains to keep the child warm with yards of outing flannel, a baby blanket and a complete line of baby clothes, there was no nursing bottle or baby food. Two years ago a male infant was similarly abandoned on a road two miles west of Clyde. It was cared for in Memorial hospital and later found a good home in a promiment Cleveland family. ----
