Eichelberger, 87, of Piqua, passed away at 6:04 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. He was born May 15,1920, in Piqua, the son of the late George and Velma (Bard) Eichelberger. He is survived by three children, Mike (Joyce) Eichelberger of Piqua, Jeannie Hahn of Lambertville, Mich, and Paul Eichelberger of Blountville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter-in-law, Susan Eichelberger; and a son-in-law, Craig Hahn. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. He retired from Hartzell's Veneering Mill where he worked for 41 years. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher, with Pastor Paul Pearson of The Light House Ministries presiding. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher with military honors provided by V.E.T.S.
