Washington St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44023; (440) 543-7028 Maple Shade at Auburn Center (17711 Auburn Rd.) Active Location: The northeast corner of the intersection of Auburn Road and U.S. Route. #422. There are four sections. Section 3 has some burials; much of the section is undeveloped. Section 4 has not been developed for burials. The township administrative offices are on this corner. Shadyside at Auburn Corners (11725 Washington St.) Active Location: the south side of U.S. Route. #422, just west of the intersection of U.S. Routes #422 and #44. Section 6 was continued west of the driveway in the 1960s. Section 7 was surveyed and lots sold in 1998/9. Wood Burial Ground at Auburn Corners (17690 Ravenna Rd.) Inactive Location: approximately 150 yards north of U.S. Route #422 and 100 yards west of U.S. Route #44. Messenger Property, (17098 Messenger Rd.) Inactive Location: Burial of cremains of Cleon Messenger, per his will. Sections and lots have not been identified for those marked “Unknown”. Codes for Military Service (Vet.)
